With Summer winding down (the hottest week is coming) we wanted to get our Fall Collection out for cooler weather. The inspiration for capsule is iconic characters but with a Gunther's twist. And our third shirt is a more modern fit and styling.
The Azteca Tee is a more modern fitting and styling shirt. A 100% Cotton, garment washed oversized fit. It features a oversized dropped shoulder fit that gives it the distinct baggy fit. Soft to the touch because of the enzyme wash that faded and gives it that worn in look. We wanted this shirt to be versatile. The oversized fit allows for it to be cut into a tank top or any other you see fit.
Good Times Comes in Pairs is for those long nights out with that one homie or person you tore up the town with. The team wanted to keep with our traditional parrot mascot and an iconic mouse to expand on the theme we have with this capsule. And that theme is cartoons and good times. 
The Capitan tee we combined two important things to people in the Santa Ana/Anaheim area. Steam Boat Willie and Cars. The front graphic of the tee is a chain steering wheel which is common in cruisers and lowrider cars and below the steering wheel we have a simple Gunther's script. On the back of the shirt there is a big graphic of Steam Boat Willie, but we made some changes to his outfit and style.
Instead of your typical Steam Boat Willie design, we added a plaid button down and a bandanna which is reminiscent of the stylings of those within the car culture. We also replaced the typical wooden wheel with a chain link steering wheel. It gives this shirt and design a unique look and feel when you put it on.
